Joshua A. Simon, D.O.

Palm Beach County native Joshua Simon, DO, joined Delray Medical Center in July as a general surgeon and critical care specialist. Simon returns to his South Florida roots after recently completing his fellowship training in trauma surgery and surgical critical care in Camden, New Jersey, at Cooper University Hospital, a Level-1 trauma center. Prior to his trauma training, Simon concluded his general surgery residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami — which included pediatric surgical training at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital and trauma training at Delray Medical Center — and his medical school education at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. The author of several medical journals, Simon is also a partner at East Atlantic Surgical Group, a practice specializing in general and trauma surgery, and wound care. Simon’s hobbies include running and playing soccer, and he is a former board member of South Florida JAZZ and is a supporter of several South Florida literacy programs.
